So much in fact, according to John LaRosa is the President of Marketdata LLC, “The U.S. weight loss market is estimated to be worth $68.2 billion in 2017—a 2.7% gain, and growth should continue into 2018, when the market is expected to post a better gain of 3.2% to $70 billion.”
That’s incredible in light of the fact our obesity rate is on the rise. Adult Obesity in the United States. Updated September 2018: According to the most recent Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) data, adult obesity rates now exceed 35% in seven states, 30% in 29 states and 25% in 48 states.
This is alarming due to the fact these numbers are on the rise. At this rate, over 50% of the adult population will be obese within a decade or two.
You might wonder what the solution is. Actually, it’s to listen to your body. Really tune in. And then, take an appropriate course of action with the foods you consume.
Your Body Knows
Your body has a miraculous way of showing you precisely what it needs for optimal health and wellness. Your body and your inner knower – your intuition – already understand the Food Codes. So simplify the problem of life, distinguish the necessary and the real. Probe the earth to see where your main roots run.
Finding the best foods for yourself and those you love does not have to be a complex issue anymore. You don’t have to be a food research scientist to know what is good for you to eat.
